Not long ago I saw a call to do a blog hop that was matching favorite Christmas movies with crafts and food. If there was ever a perfect match for me this was it! I knew exactly what I wanted to make as soon as I was accepted with the movie National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
My husband and I are often communicate with movie and tv quotes. He is the king of remembering one liners and this particular one is mentioned on a weekly basis. “You Serious, Clark?” Yup, it’s our fave! Next only to, “I don’t know, Margo!” Anytime one of us mentions something surprising to the other it’s the first thing that comes out of our mouth. But, come Christmas time we are able to use all of our favorite quotes from the movie.
So to make this craft you need wood slices drilled with a small hole enough to fit your ribbon cording through and paint. You could use chalkboard paint and letter it your own but if you are like me and your hand writing is atrocious then using your Silhouette or cutting machine and vinyl is your best bet!
But since this is a blog hop there is more fun…
We have 25 talented bloggers gathered together to share with you all the wonderful crafts and recipes you can make this Christmas season, based off of some of the most beloved holiday classic films. Each blogger will lead you to the next, so be sure to finish the hop all the way through to the end for all the Christmas movie goodies!
Let’s Meet The Hosts!
So I am pleased to direct you to the next blogger Sam Hay of Raggedy Bits
Enjoy the hop and tell me what is your favorite Christmas movie!
