If your kids are anything like mine they can easily waste an hour on the game Minecraft. To be perfectly honest, I don’t get it. But, I can appreciate a game that requires some skill and creativity so for that reason I don’t harp on them too much about it! When I came up with my Extreme Elf on the Shelf calendar one of the days was to make a minecraft santa puzzle for the kids. I envisioned cutting up construction paper but then the logistics of an ombre pixalated palette of paper seemed even a little extreme even more me. But, then I remembered my cousin Jason and the awesome halloween costume he made for his son Gage for halloween. He made him Steve from the game it was awesome. So, I reached out to him and said hey do you think you could make me a minecraft-esque Santa. I didn’t have a clear vision on what exactly I wanted so when he presents me with an actual 3d cube mask I was blown alway! My kids are going to FREAK out and now yours can too because he gave me permission to share it with all of my readers!
Now all of your minecraft loving kiddos can have their elf add a little holiday cheer to their favorite game! All you need to do is print, cut and put it together. I secured mine with a touch of scotch tape! I hope you love this as much as I do!
