I love finding gifts for men, especially my husband but he is one of the hardest people to buy a gift for. Not because he lacks interests or an ongoing list of things that he wants. But, it is because his wants carry high price tags or he lacks patience and gets them himself. In fact all of the men in my life are that way. But to find gifts for men in my life I have to get really creative to try and find them the perfect present! Then I found the this shop and fell down the rabbit hole of new gift ideas and have a few to spare now! So, if you have a guy in your life that is hard to buy for I am going to share my top five meaningful and creative gifts for the hard to buy for guy in your life!
My first idea is one that I already gave my husband and was a total hit! A personalized bourbon barrel! We are big fans of all things bourbon and I was so excited to give it to him. We made a small batch bourbon using this using a “white lightning” and it was ready in about 5 weeks. It was a fun and functional and when now sits on our desk at home and it makes a great conversation piece! The fact that I was able to put his name on it was fun! When people ask to try our small batch we get a giggle out of it because of the “angel share” so much evaporates there wasn’t much to share with others. We see it as an excuse to order the barrel in the next size up!
Next up is a practical and stylish and to be honest would save me a lot of time helping him look for lost keys! This bluetooth tracking tag is has a wood grain look and I feel it fits into his love of gadgets! If you have a husband like mine that carries work keys separate from his car keys (why I don’t know but I don’t mess with his process) then this is a must have. Even though we have a drop off place for keys it doesn’t always make it there which means I have to help him look (and for me this ends up being before 6 am)! This solves that problem and maybe gets me a few extra minutes sleep which I will gladly take! Plus, if he is reading this like I know he does, nudge nudge babe…they have gifts at Uncommon Goods for everyone and if you need a few hints for me or the kids I have a lot of selections you can find here!
We have so many ticket stubs that are currently living in a shoe box and lingering around in drawers. I remember early in our marriage I mentioned scrap-booking them and my husband looked at me like I had lost my mind. So, asking your husband to craft with you may not be the right kind of gift but this ticket stub diary is. This gift puts all the mementos in the right place for him and solves a clutter issue for me!
My husband loves adventure and is a big history buff. When I first met him he had just returned home from Europe and he had so many fun stories from his trip. A globe is the perfect gift for an adventurer that gives inspiration but also, how great is it that it is cork? So fun to literally pin a location you have been or is on our bucket list! Plus, another bonus for me is that I love the design aesthetic of a globe so it’s kind of a win for me in that department too!
Now this is a gift for your wannabe Alton Brown and its a good one! I am not sure if my husband loves cooking or watching cooking shows more but either way this Molecular Gastronomy Kit is seriously cool. Plus, at heart my husband is a big kid and if his new toy allows me to eat chocolate in a few new ways then we are both getting a good deal out of it! Plus, check out the reviews! They are great!
