A few months back I worked with an amazing stylist who brought my pink hair dreams come true. So I have been looking for a low cost option that gives makes my pastel hair goals a reality and the L’Oreal Colorista looks like it might fit the bill!
First of all, my hair was lightened professionally a few months ago. As much as I love to play with color I don’t dare bleach my hair on my own! However, it has been a few months and my roots are dark but I thought it would give way for a great ombré roots look!
I used the Soft Pink and followed the directions and left in my hair for 20 minutes. What I liked about this product is that it did not need any mixing. I used it directly from the tube and for my shoulder length hair it took the whole bottle.
While it was processing there was no unpleasant chemical smell and I felt no tingling. It felt very much like using Overtone (color depositing conditioner). I suspect it is a very similar product which I love! The only reason I don’t use Overtone full time is that it is not sold near me locally or on Amazon.
When it was washed, I was thrilled with the color! That being said the there are parts that are much brighter than the box predicted. That being said, I adore the results and almost wish that it wouldn’t wash out in 4 washes!
So, while I am not a beauty blogger I can say that as a color loved and hair risk taker that I recommend the L’Oréal Colorista semi permanent hair color at least in this shade! I also bought the purple so I am looking forwaes to see how that turns out as well!
You can find a bottle for yourself here! This isn’t a sponsored post! L’Oreal has no idea who I am I am just happy to spread the pastel hair love!
